The Dark Knight PR

Hi All !
After my "Hello post" in the welcome desk room, just few pictures of my already done Dark Knight, found on paper replika site.

As you can see on the pictures, I've drilled the whole statue with micro diameter to keep kevlar texture after airbrush. Final result looks good for me !

If you'd like to see all the building steps, let me know, I'll give you the link to the best french paper-forum !

Kind regards,
Vincent

Nice work. The base reminds me of a time I got in trouble in shop class in elementary school. We were making pen sets, and instead of following the template, I did the bat symbol. Oops.

Nice work. One question on the base, though. The edge is smooth and true. How did you create such a nice edge without 'rounding' it when it was polished?

Nice job on the model, too. Have you decided on your next model?

Thanks all for your comments.

Actually, I made the base on a CNC cutting and milling machine like this link :
ZUND G3 Milling demo.
I'm lucky to have and to be the programmer of this machine at work. So I can make some.... tries, to developp my knowledge, you know ;o) So I found a dxf file of the batsign and... I tried !

Yes, I'm now working on Sinanju White Comet also from Paper Replika, printed in A3 size. As I started the thread on my french forum, I will open one here with the link for the beginning, and I will post the end of assembly on both forums !

Regards !
Vincent

Technically, you shouldn't be able to post a url until you have ten posts, so you have been fortunate
