Iron Man + Lady in Red - 1:9 - Schreiber

Greetings noble people,

there was already a first getting to know between Ritter Rudolf and Miss Cunegonde from the castle, of course, there were again these troublesome paparazzi, whom we owe some discrete snapshots, but behold yourself ............

It greets you Kurt von Greifenstein ..........

Super models - really good.

Paper figures often look really wooden, but these are pretty realistic,

And, excellent photography. Well done!

Very nice models ... well made and exceptionally well posed. The paparazzi done 'em proud methinks.

Erm, can I ask about the castle? I've got quite a few in my 'Might build one day when I get a bigger house' stash, but this model is not familiar to me.

Thank you Kurt. It's a bit expensive for me, but I suppose for a fairly large printed copy it's not bad. I'd probably just scan and shrink it down to around 1:500 or smaller though, so a downloadable file would be better. Interesting looking castle though. Is it a Norman built one?

Cheers for the extra details Kurt. Another excellent build. OK so it's not a Norman Castle, but 1080.AD puts it into the same era as our Norman built castles in England, so I guess that's why the architecture is so similar.

I've bought card models (mainly birds) from Fentens before and found them an excellent supplier, but as I said, much as I love'em, Castles are a bit too big for my building table or display space right now, so they are stashed in the 'Maybe one day' file for now.

Incidentally, Ben Fentens is a member here too, so if you have any queries or requests ...

Just had a peek at your blog ... oh yes, do I love that Bireme or what? I've been hovering around Uhu02's Argo for a while now, but regrettably my fingers are (hopefully) temporarily damaged by chemotherapy, so nothing is getting built right now.
