Uhu02 Tinkerbell

My son's girlfriend's little girl really likes my paper models.

As we were doing an internet search for 'Disney paper models' by image, she saw the Uhu02 Tinkerbell and acted like she'd eaten a whole bag of processed sugar.

Her birthday is coming up and I thought I would surprise her, but the colors keep coming out blue where they are supposed to be bright green.

I've never had this problem before.

Any suggestions?

Try taking the file to Office Depot/Office Max or Staples and have them print it out on their professional laser printers. I did that for one of Murph's models and the colors where quite brilliant.

When the first one came out absolutely wrong, I did a clean up and test print, and all seemed good, but the bright green is still blue. It's strange, but the dull greens are correct.

I think my next step is to import to Gimp and adjust colors there. I know there are various formattings for color in files, and maybe there is a mismatch that just catches this one color wrong

Run a test pattern first.
Confirm that your printer is colour accurate.
Print the test image below.

What you are describing is an Ink problem.
Theres really no other solution unless you are physically telling your printer to substitute colours.

Either an Ink Cartridge is empty
or a Print Head is clogged/malfunctioning.

keeping in mind that this is a scan of the print, I think it is pretty close

never mind, it won't let me attach the image.

There's a unprintable pattern in the green of her clothing.
Looks like uhu tried to pattern her clothing material after the Leaf surface.
I wonder if that is affecting the printing?

But what about the Leaf...its obviously supposed to be green.
Does it also print Blue?

If so, its definitely an Ink or Command issue.
Have you been through all your printer settings?

Are you changing RGB to CMYK, or vice-versa?

Haven't done all of that. The leaf is mostly green.

Did you get the scan I emailed to you of the print of that test image? Looks pretty good to me, even the scan of the print looks good
