looks good.
as mentioned previously, i'm a little nervous with PDO files with all the complex sharp angles and tiny parts but this one looks very efficiently planned out even with 1 page alone for the hair

will follow this with interest.

With Pepakura it is possible to print with or without the fold lines, and it's also possible to remove the texture from the surfaces completely. Where possible I try to print a full colour version with no lines and also another version with no texture but all the fold lines showing. That way I can experiment with the creases in a white version to see the shape and fit required for each piece ... Then I repeat each stage using the textured pieces, but avoiding as many folds as possible. Thus allowing the card surfaces to just twist and curve into place, avoiding most of the unnatural creases found in the polymetric designs. These curved surfaces can often be further caressed (burnished) with damp fingers and other tools to achieve much more natural curvatures.

Brilliant! Beats what I do: bring the page from my work room to the computer, and manually draw mountain and valley fold indicator lines with a pencil.

Example of what I'm talking about ...

No, I never did finish Jessica. This was taken before the chemo killed my fingertips. She's still waiting in a drawer though. One day soon I hope.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Meanwhile, the right arm is slowly growing.

The elbow (the upper part of the remaining parts of the right arm) comes in sight, the most difficult part of this arm.

Grts,
Joost

Amazing Joost
I have seen the start IRL, but now I want to see the finished girl IRL.

The right arm is finished. Here some pictures.

This is how your elbow looks like when I unfold it :D:D:

The result:

I don't like the ponytails as the designer created them. I'll try another solution.
But therefor, I need to go shopping first.

And when that is OK, she can be finished completely.

Regards,
Joost

Very nicely done! I would not attempt it. I built a Santa and Reindeer once and decided that I needed to go into a different line of building.
