Great work on this. Started one of his and was just above my level then. Watching yours come together has inspired me that it might be time to give it another try.

Slowly.. slowly...
I feared to build the left hand. Hands in this kit, and at this size are quite difficult. I managed to finish them. But the result is far from perfect. The mistakes are more apparent when photographed using macro. Anyways, this finishes all the elements of the doll from the waist up. Now it's only the legs and the skirt left to build. And also the base, which I am thinking on redoing if I have the time. Thanks for reading!!

Current status:
This boots aren't made for walking, and that's what they won't do. All sub-assemblies are finished as you can see in the next photo. I'm not particularly happy with the final look of the skirt. It is more challenging than what can be thought. Too much handling damaged the finish. :( It is lined with red paper on the inside. Later you'll see that. Only thing left to do is to build the base, and glue all together. I expect to finish this in the following days. Thanks for reading!

Looking close to being put together.
For some reason a Jimi Hendrix song keeps playing in my head.

Base and display background are finished.
I decided to leave the base untouched as I just wanted to save time. And the original base is not so bad after all. But it certainly needs some (lots of) internal reinforcement to avoid serious warping. Specially when (as I did) the kit is enlarged. Background was glued to 3mm hard cardboard. This girl is tall. Original size was supposed to be 24 cms. But as I enlarged it to %133 to fit double letter paper, the doll is about 32 cms. Not counting the 7cm base. A proper photoshoot session will take place in the following days. Meanwhile, a small teaser: Wooooo I can't believe I actually finished! Thanks for reading. Stay tuned for the official final photos soon

Some details:
This was an interesting project. I learned a lot. But it was not easy. Besides the pdo, and a general assembly video there are no real instructions. Some parts are incredibly small and difficult to build. The fingers are a challenge. But overall a nice model. It was a learning experience. Since I'm not used to this kind of models, it taught me a lot. Thanks for following, and thanks to all of you for the comments! Regards,
