Danboard Zero Fighter Type 21

This kit was designed by Allen Tam, inspired in the popular Danboard figures.

For those not familiar with the Danbo character, here's a short note about its origins:

This time the subject replicates the Zero Fighter Type 21 version of the figure,
which is none other than the minirobot disguised as the famous WWII Japanese airplane.

As with his other set (the Nyanboards), this kit features full articulation of the arms, a good movement of the legs, and detachable head.

This kit also features moving propeller, and an extra detachable carry-on fuel tank.

And as usual with Allen's kits, graphics are very good and parts fit perfectly.

Nice work by Allen. I enjoyed the video.

I see that this Zero is an A6M2 from the Akagi Air Group between April 1941 and June 1942 (AI tail code), but I have been unable to identify the pilot of aircraft AI-162. I presume that Allen knows.

Don, about the Danboard Zero Type 21, it is not my design, I got that from Kayiodo. They released couple of Danboard Zero action figures some time ago, one Navy and one Army and all I did were copying it ( I was thinking it is easy enough to build my own, I don't have to buy it :D) The Navy marking A1-162 was inspired by the Japanese movie "The Eternal Zero" or "Eien no Zero"( I like the storyline, if you like Japanese war movie, it worth buying) It was one of the kamikaze aircraft in the movie and if I am not so lazy, I would watch the movie again and try to nail down that aircraft ~ but I am lazy.
