Yesterday's work.

Finished off the legs and the first two parts of the body.

Last photo shows the parts of the arms, all scored and ready to go.

Gary, I'll let you know the final height when it's finished.

On to the arms.

Did forget to stuff them with tissue paper when building, but going to Hobby Lobby to look for filling that will work. Do have the leftovers from my drill punch at work. Might try that first.

Some more photos.

It is looking fantastic.

I was going to suggest expanding foam for a filler, but it might bend it out of shape.

Thought about that, but the I'm afraid that the foam will bend it out of shape as you mentioned. It's the hands and lower arm. After that I can stuff them with tissue.

The coated 2 sides cardstock is not very heavy weight, either an 8 pt or 10 pt.

It's really looking good. I doubt an inkjet could give you that nice of a finish

Thanks V-K. Agreed, inkjet would not do this model justice.

Busy weekend building.

1st photo is the filling I used, paper from my paper drill at work. Did break them into smaller sized pieces. Worked great.

2nd photo, the completed arms.

Next photos are of the body construction. Photo 3 the parts and photo 4 the instructions.

The rest of the body. I connected the legs to the body to see the fit. Not yet glued.
