Thanks for all the links, what do you think of my build?

Very neat and precise build. 3D character models are not easy. The original Godzilla remains my personal favorite. Good choice.

I learnt a lot with this build, keep your blade sharp, superglue is good for small pieces, but not forgiving if you don't get the piece aligned properly! By the end of the build I went back to 'tacky glue', results were better and I didn't stick my fingers to the model! This was also the first time a made a real effort to colour the white edges of the pieces, I used ohuho alcohol markers, mainly cool grey 2 and 6, and a little warm grey 4, overall i'm very pleased with the results. Very good looking man in a rubber Godzilla suit, the way it should be.
One thing I do when building models is fold the glue tab and color the fold and a little of the area on the glue tab when coloring the edge of the part. That helps to cut down on any of the white that might show up. Something else I do for models with those dashed fold lines that show up on the graphics is to lightly color along the dashed line to sort of fill in the blank spaces. To me it helps hide the very obvious fold lines that distract from the way the final model looks. For some reason a solid line is less distracting to me than a dashed line. It is like a shadow line. With Pepakura models I print without lines when avavailable then use the lined version opened in Pepakura to guide the scoring and folding. There is an option to color adjoining surfaces but you can't really control that if the parts are rendered in some of those strange ways you get sometimes so I just color the adjoining surfaces manually.

A long time ago I remember making a hako type Godzilla. I did a little root around and managed to find it again. So for those who may be interested, you can go to Steven Marshall's Homespun Magixx site:
HomespunMagixx - Home Go to Downloads, then Hako, and you'll find him about three-quarters of the way down the page.
