Frost Saber WoW

Here is a (almost) finished frost saber from World of Warcraft. Almost finished because the claws have not been put on the paws yet. A long break needs to taken from that model.
It has a saddle on it so I guess it is a mount in the game. Now I need to find an appropriate figure to pose beside it.

The big cats are the racial mounts for night elves so see what you can find in the way of a night elf figure to go with it.

Will Alexstrasza do for you Doug? She's the only WoW figure I can find right now (I know there are more in my archive, but it has never been indexed properly). She was put out by Life Papercraft some time back, but doesn't appear to be in the latest catalogue. Probably lost during the period that the blog went off air and was eventually replaced by a new website.

WoW is a somewhat dated game now and many of the wonderous characters seem to be disappearing from the papercraft scene. I must explore my harddrive further ... I just know there are more in there.

Ah-ha! I've found them. They are all animals so they were in a different file ... except 'The Headless Horseman' that is, but I probably saved that for the horse. The rider is a separate .pdo.

Surprized to find this blog still active ... tried a couple and the download links still worked. Be prepared to repell pop ups and pop unders from the download site though.

Thanks, Johnny. I have a female night elf pdo. I might use another figure to pose next to it. I have a friend who likes Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy. She might get a kick out of seeing Tifa posed next to the frost saber.
