Macross Oberth Destroyer

Here is my next model everyone! The Oberth Destroyer from Macross. In Robotech it was called the Lancer 2 fighter. A little large for a fighter, since the model is 200mm long at 1/1000 scale! But either way it will be rolled out soon, it has been sent to the proper building authorities for a beta build. (you know who you are

) I have another model in mind, but it might be awhile before I can do anything with that.:(

Well I come to all of you today, (with head hung low) to resurrect an old thread. I had actually finished this model a little over a year ago. With life jumping in the way, I never got around to releasing it. Getter1 jumped on a beta build for me, but due to my laziness, I never followed up with him. My sincerest apologies to you Getter. I dropped the ball.

The way I figure it though, I made this model, it needs to be shared with the community. I have uploded it (whether it is buildable or not) to the anime section. Just awaiting the mod to approve it.

My apologies to the few people who did respond to my thread originally for making you wait this long.

Real life gets in the way of everything and I've been dealing with a bad bout of it myself of late :(

From what I could tell of what I built so far it was completly buildable :D

Hey G1 thanks for the understanding.

I finally found my portable drive this thing was on (after moving) and thought it was about time to get it out on the internets.

If I can find the time I might retexture this thing since I've learned alot more about UV's and such since I first worked on it.

Speaking of re-visiting old unfinished projects, the Valk Stand files are right here.......

Welcome Back, yep as G1 says real life gets in the way of all our fun and hobbies.

I feel a little awkward asking, but has anyone started building this little guy yet? I just would like to see some build pics.

I have to live vicariously through everyone here since I don't have a functioning printer yet....
