Suit of Armour Question

H Team
Not too sure where to put this question. Anyhoo I am interested in finding a suit of armour model. Free or Pay is ok. So far all I have found is a roman soldier. Anyone know if there is a suit of armour model out there please?

Cheers
Jim

I'm sure somebody here will come up with one - but now that you mention it that's something that you would think would translate to paper and that I've never seen. Somewhere I've got some plastic models of suits of armor that my dad picked up in Japan that are pretty cool.

I thought that too. Problem is that every time I search for armour I get military vehicles. Oh well! Here's hoping.

Suit of Steel

Dear Bagpiper:
I too have wanted to do a Man at arms after visiting the John Woodman Higgins Armor Museum in Mass. Belexa (SP?) had some now out of print and the Mag ABC had some I understand I hope someone will take pitty on us 6 to 12 inches tall would be nice would'nt it???
The guys in the Artillery Company of New Mexico used to sit around the first years meetings and said Shure would be nice if we had our own cannon. One of the female members was a hotshot computer programer worked extra and at a meeting pulled a sheet of a cannon and said Meet Shurewood the cannon. After that start they have a full Battery.
More Later,
Miles Linnabery

Thanks Miles.
Wonder why there is not more, if any, suits of armour in paper. Wonder if this is a niche that is yet to be filled.

Thanks for your comment.

Cheers

This is indeed great news. Thank you both so very much for the links. Perhaps if I had spelt it Armor instead of Armour it may have come up when I did a search.

Thanks again.

cheers

Geesh... If I did this this one, I would absolutely have to do it on metallic gold or metallic silver paper.

I just may have to get this...

There is a suit of armor for sale at www.papermodelstore.com in the masks and figures menu. I've never seen the kit, but at least it's not expensive.
