Question Printing on Very Thin Paper

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to print on very thin (as in tracing) paper?

You might try using small pieces of tape at the leading edge (the direction of printer feed) by taping it to a sheet of regular paper to help it feed throught the printer. I have used that technique before and it did work for me**.

**Your success may vary

Get to your local art store and grab some "Best-Test Quality" repositionable adhesive spray. Spraying this cardstock will give you a slightly tacky surface that the tissue paper will stick to. Then trim the tissue paper to the size of the cardstock, and run it through the printer. The repositionable adhesive will hold the tissue paper securely to cardstock for the run through the printer and then let you peel it off without damage.

"Best Test" is the brand name, made by the Union Rubber company in Trenton, New Jersey. There may be other brands out there, just make sure you get repositional spray.

I use 3M "post it" glue stick glue for this purpose. Just a thin line on the edge of a piece of card stock, then stick on the thin paper. Make sure the glued edge feeds into the printer first, peel off when printing is complete.
NOT FOR LASER PRINTING

Thank you all for good advice. I've tried taping to paper on my own, with - as Ray points out - varying success. The tip about "post it" glue stick seems very good. I will remember that. - L.
