I used the standard 48 divided by 72 on my calculator, and got .6666666666667

so 67%

disclaimer: I don't know if that's right. Hopefully somebody who does will chip in and give the right answer.

Try this handy itle site. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Space-...e%20Converter/ Formulas to convert a scale model to another size for proper printer output. All you have to do is plug your numbers in and it does the rest.

Murphy's calculation is the quickest and simplest method!

murphyaa 07-24-2011 03:04 PM

Did I get it right though?

ghshinn 07-24-2011 03:07 PM

You can re-size anything using muphyaa's method. Oh, phooy. Airdave just said that. Disregard this message, please.

PS. Murphy, I think you got it right. I hope so, anyway, because I've been doing it that way.

murphyaa 07-24-2011 03:14 PM

I always knew it was divide one scale by the other, I just have a hard time figuring out which.
