Despite not liking the amount of glue that is dispensed, the beads dried very nicely. Some of the experimental vertical edges are tilted, either due to shifting from not "clamping" them, or from the glue shrinking as it dries. The seams where I was able to use less glue successfully still have very strong bonds. I tried to separate one and noticed that it was tearing the cardstock beyond the glue's coverage area.

So it seems even if the amount of glue is a bit excessive it will still do a decent job. However, I still want to see the results of using a thinner needle.
