My first paper model (scottish Fold Kitten)

Well here it is at last my first paper model ... i chose this model (one of the Canon free kits)
because my daughter actually has a Scottish fold cat and I thought
she might like the model.

please bear with me I know this is not up to the usual very high standard on this forum but hopefully I can only get better.

Dear Barrie:
Nice Photo Also, Very good start to a new Hobby. With the Cannon Kits I have found that taking clear nail polish and putting severial coats on the eyes helps the look
Good Luck,
MILES

A little cutie. I'd say I need to build some of the Canon models, but right now I'd settle for building anything to the point of finish. Look forward to seeing what you do next.

Looks pretty darn good to me, especially considering all those curved surfaces. Looks like it would have been pretty tricky. Nice job. Keep building and posting pics!

Really good effort! You certainly chose a hard model to start off with!

I haven't done that one, but when I got started, I was doing a lot of buildings and Mel Ebbles vehicles, and also Toposolitario vehicles. Mel had a vehicle that had lots of curvy pieces, and I thought to myself, I need to do some organic subjects before I try this. My first was a camel, then an ox and cart. Now I do about as many birds, fish and animals as I do vehicles and architecture.

I think your project came out very well. After Miles's comment, I think I'm going to have to go visit the owners of some of my models and clear-coat their eyes...

What are you going to build next?
