I'd start off with the black base coat, then a metallic silver spray paint. Then put on the clear plastic coat last.

well i tried that didn't look good as our aluminum foil here is not even close to good looking

but i'll give it another shot and see what comes out

do a search for "flight metal" lots of RC airplane scale modelers use it,.. its like bare metal foil but stronger!
