Pdo to pdf conversion

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this question but here goes. Some the models I would like to dowmload are in the PDO format which I am unable to open. How would I convert a PDO file to PDF file so that 7zip or Foxit will open it?

You need the Pepakura Viewer: Pepakura Designer

Once using the viewer, you can select to print to a PDF file if you have one installed.

But if you're on an Apple it won't be possible, unfortunately. Unless you install Windows as a second OS... )-:

I've downloaded onto my XP. I could never give up my old desk top type of system because I really hate to use lap top styles of computers.

once downloading you should open the pdo you should have a virtual printer like primo pdf so you can convert them to pdf

unless you print directly from an actual printer

As ultra says, the key to creating PDFs from a PDO is having a PDF printer driver installed on your machine - there are a stack of free ones out that but shop around to make sure you don't install one that places advert watermarks on your PDF pages...I use PDF995 which links to online ads but which provides a 'clean' PDF file

Another virtual pdf printer is CutePDF Writer.
CutePDF - The free PDF Converter, Convert to PDF for free, Free PDF Utilities.

A useful utility to have is PDFTK Builder. You can combine multiple pdf single page files into one pdf multi-page file or split a multi-page pdf file into individual pages.
PDFTK Builder and other PDF Resources

Wow!!! So many options. Thanks for all of the information. I downloaded the Pepekura viewer but am still trying to fure out whether or not can scale it up or down. A PDF converter might make it possible to use Foxit. If it had'nt have been for this group I would never have known about Foxit or 7zip. You've all been a lot of help to an old codger.

If you want to scale, you need the Designer (no need to buy it). You can't save, but you can print.
