I've just uploaded to the download section a simple Excel calculator I realized to help me calculate how to resize pieces from one scale to the other.
It can also be used to calculate print resize factor as requested.
Perhaps this one isn't better than any other calculator you can find online (and that are listed in previous posts of this thread) but this is targeted right on cardmodeller's needs and - anyway - I find it pretty handy.

Shoot! Used to use one years (and years) ago. Doing that would have made tests/exams a whole lot less stressful back in the day!

So, what do you guys do when you upscale a PDF to make a larger model?

For example I am upscaling the Roci model, the original PDF and scale has been set to print on A4 so making the images larger will cause parts of the model to be split across more than one page. Do you guys just go ahead and print and join them up after wards or do you do like I have and use an image editor to rearrange the parts so that they still print fully on a single A4 sheet?

Is their an easier way? The way I've been doing it does work but it can be time consuming and lends itself to sizing errors.

I've upscaled a few models that were designed to be printed at A4, i basically just worked out the percentage I needed to enlarge it by then took it to a printshop, told them the percentage and had them print on A3. I get it printed on plain paper then laminate to thicker card as required.
