pepakura printing problems
hi guys
so i decided to print a model that was in pdo format so what i opened the model told the program to print on a4 actual size of the model but that's the problem when i started building the model it wasn't actual size it was a lot smaller (5% at least) when i revised the pdf file (printed the file with nitro pdf then printed it from the pdf) i found it to be smaller than what it looks like in the model although i'm sure i told it to print "actual size" (both in the pepakura file and in the pdf) i have a lot of models in pdo and i can't print any of them because of this problem any one has any idea what made the model shrink in size i can't have a 1:1 m249 saw looking like a toy gun thnx and please note that i print at a shop i don't have a printer so i can't take the pepakura file with me and print directly from it ultra stone

1-If the print shop is willing to run Pepakura, try printing directly from Pepakura program.
Pepakura is portable software and can run on Windows machine from a copy of the program on a CD ROM or thumb drive without installing it to the hard drive. 2- Check all the software printer settings on your computer. An installed program like a word processor or a graphics program may have print settings that are over riding the print settings on Pepakura and your print to PDF program. Try a different print to PDF program and see if you get better results. 3- If all else fails, try to do it on a different computer (friend's computer, rented computer at internet cafe, computer at work if your boss allows it) and see what happens. |
