Base/Stand/Support for model

Hello! How do you deal with models that cant stand on their own? Im Currently building the Deoxys (Attack) paper model and it cant stand on its own. Also its feet are pointy so i think it will be hard to even glue in on some kind of base and stay there ,but i would prefer not to have a base, i like models better without them. I Guess i could use some kind of transparent plastic for support but i dont know... What do you do on an occasion like this?
