Good beginner kit followup

What are some good beginner kits in general? Mainly looking for military aircraft military land vehicles such as tanks or armored cars

You can ask this question yourself based on what do you want to achieve, how much time do you want to spend it on it and how much skills,experience you have. Simple rule is to start with something that is not too complicated, learn for it and see what are you capable of making from paper. I would suggest to get something from free websites and start from there.
