Smile Glue

Hey guys,

I'm new to the hobby and so far I've only made two models, a 747 and an a340. I currently just use some cheap PVA glue, but I was wondering if there was some other kind of glue that would be better to use

Thanks!

Aleene's Tacky Glue.
A thick PVA glue which grabs faster than thin PVA glue.
Aleene's is good for gluing edge joints.

I use a PVA glue called 'Anita's Tacky Glue'
I think any PVA glue called -Tacky' should do the job.

Hi, and welcome aboard.
Translating all that into strine I think they mean

from Officeworks.
Selleys Tarzan Grip General Purpose is also useful in place of UHU when that gets mentioned.

I'll second gotham's comment I use Anita's tacky PVA glue, thicker than ordinary PVA

I was brought up using UHU, and I still use it a lot. But I also use white PVA craft glue when the occasion demands. And on rare occasions I've been known to use a drop of cyanoacrylate It all depends.

would it behoove us to create a page, wiki or other, with a listing of the primary types/brands of glue that is available in each country?

That sounds both useful and practical.
