Starting First Build
Okay, this may be a bit of a daft question but I am going to ask anyway. I have my first attempt downloaded and I am pretty sure I can make this little Morris Delivery van from Peter Watson. I have some 65 pound cover stock for the actual printing but have a quick question.
The first thing it says to do is "Score all fold lines before cutting out components." The only way to see the fold lines is from the printed side of the card. So, I have to assume you make all score lines on the print side regardless of which way the fold will go? Hopefully that makes sense... Tom

Tom,
quick short answer = Yes Longer answer, you can score on the printed side, or you can try some of these methods. Use a pin to to place holes at all of the fold lines, and then score from the other side. Or Use a window or light table and score the kit on the reverse side. As this is your first kit, score from the printed side, it won't hurt anything. Rick

I used to try to score on the back and found that it is much more accurate to score on the printed side, it folds just fine.

Ahh, so I was thinking along the correct lines so to speak. Okay then now to print and see what I can do.
Thanks!

Okay finally got back to the local print shop and had them print out the Easter Island head from Cannon Creative and instead of the Morris I printed out a 1975 BMW 3.0 CSL as it is a bigger model than the delivery van.
I got the BMW Alpina race car from Dave's Card Stuff and the colors when printed really popped. Hopefully won't be too difficult for me might start with the base first as that looks the easiest. Tom
