Do all my model building at work during my lunch hour. Just have to eat fast and build faster. People are always amazed that the completed models are made of paper.

A long time ago in a nearby galaxy, I used to work in an inbound technical support call center. I'd work on models between calls. After a couple years I got to the point I could walk somebody thru fixes without looking the directions up, so I started building models during calls as well.

I vote this to be the best use of a computer case.

I second that Jim!

And it becomes known as a laptop case if you model on your knees.

And a hard case if you spill glue.

Well I went back to work last night and got some more work on the model done, using turbo tacky glue with mixed results. I decided not to put all the little detail parts on it. I have another one printed out so I will try with that one. I will finish this one tonight and then either start the DBR7 or the 917. I tried to use colored pencils on the edges with no luck, will try markers next.

Try using watercolour pencils.

Use these as normal, then moisten your finger and run along the pencilling edge.

Practice on a piece of folded card - you will soon get the hang of it.

I finished it and gave it to a co-worker, who gave it to her son. A little rough but I had fun. Working on the 917 now
