Canon Trumpet

Help!
I downloaded the Canon trumpet. Wow!
It looks, to say the least, difficult.
You connect the valves before rolling them
so you can glue the connecting tubes from
the inside if I'm reading the instructions
correctly.
Also, I'm having trouble printing the Common
Kingfisher from the same site. The printer
just sits an twiddles its thumbs. Is there
a problem with their file? I don't have any
trouble with the other files.
Thanks for any ideas.
Bob

Depending on your computer/OS/printer combination you might want to try printing one page at a time. Could be a spool size problem, printer memory problem etc. You could also try printing in 'normal' as opposed to 'best' for the same reasons.

If you can open and see the PDF file there is nothing wrong with it.

rjm;
I'm happy to see someone (else) tackling that trumpet. Yes, it does look hard, and I too am unclear just how it goes together. I shall be watching this thread with great interest.

Be brave. :D

There are a number of utilities that can extract PDF pages to graphic files. You could extract each page and print it as a graphic. This link is about the one I use. http://www.papermodelers.com/forum/t...y-program.html

I cannot move this thread, a PM to rickstef can get it moved.
