Hindenberg 1/200

I have downloaded from somewhere, sometime ago,
a copy of Hindenberg in 1/200th scale. I have the model
parts and instructions, but not the parts for the
internal structure. Maybe they were of a form that
my computer couldn't convert. The pages I have are
marked at the bottom "Alin".
Does any one know where I can get the file, pdf if
possible, for the formers?
I hope these weren't pirated.
Thanks for your help.
Bob

There was a link to that one on the Airship Modeler forum. It's not in PDF format-you'll have to find a program like extract now to open it. Let me see if I can find the link.

Here it is
Alinovy modely 3D model Brawn GP
I'm fairly confident it's the designers own site so it's not pirated. Go to "LZ129 1,2,3"

That's the link, and that's where it's always been (takes you out to a zshare site for download, so hope the files are still available). I'd love to see someone do a build thread on this - I've always wanted to tackle it, but will never find the time.
I even printed some of it out once to see how it went together, but it looked like it was going to take a fair amount of resourcefulness to get everything fitted-up just right (don't remember the details, but do remember being impressed by the way the internals came together).
There is probably a thread on airshipmodeler.com somewhere, but I don't recall for sure.

Sorry Bob,

about my question; do you like to build the Hindenberg? Could it be the LZ 129 Hindenburg - burnt down at Lakehurst?

With lovely greetings
the Wilfried

rjm; I downloaded the files for the LZ 129 Hindenburg a couple of years ago at that site, but now clicking on the link gives me the message that the file has been taken down.

Hello, Wilfried!

Hi,
the LZ-129 Hindenburg Alin is one of the models I'd like to build but is a giant model. I love this model.
Recently the 'Author, Alin Osarik, reintroduced the model through the Forum:
Papírové modelářství CZ :: Zobrazit téma - LZ-129 Hindenburg a jiné / Alin / 1:200
The link is located on page 4 (at the bottom, last post).
The file, finally, provides worksheets in PDF format.

Here are detailed plans:
Airship Drawings by David Fowler

Here's a good example of construction:
Papírové modelářství CZ :: Zobrazit téma - LZ-129 Hindenburg / free / ALIN / 1:200

And here are many, many news:
Hindenburg | Airships.net
LZ 129 Hindenburg

I hope you're satisfied :D

My maths may be a bit off the cuff on this, but I make the envelope volume as 25 litres, giving only 30g of lift if you fill the model with Hydrogen
