I like it! I've been looking for an excuse to build one of those for awhile.

Wow!! Did we all find these wonders at once - I only just found and d/l them a couple of nights ago and was thinking as they trickled down the dial-up straw that this collection is the sort of thing that group builds are made of...

I did one of these and the one from Fitters offered at Ecardmodels.com about a year a go. It will bee interesting to do one again and see if there is any deference in my work. I just hope to have time, I would like to do two or three!

I love the E.III. I'll be watching this contest!
I've downloaded all the versions in the past but don't think I'll have time to participate in this one.
Also, the landing gear gives me great pause.

Sounds like fun, but I've got two other builds currently on the table. Maybe after. I'd probably go for Ernst Udet's due to the fame associated with the pilot and the availability of his other planes in the AoE series. I'd build at 1:72 scale, and believe it would/will be the first model I'll build at this scale that was originally designed for 1:33 including appropriate details. Should be fun.
