Neato gliders

An asian page filled with some fascinating "laminate" gliders.

I'm sorry, I don't know what the language is.

Just go to the download page for lots of models.

What weight paper did you use for these planes?

Very cool. Similar to "White Wings" type stuff, but much more out-there designs

The author of "Whitewings" recommends 200 - 240gsm plus for the gliders, so I guess this would be about right.

links to other sites

The above site has a number of interesting links listed. For instance, go to "link" (リンク) and choose the third one down (Kobe Wings, HOME) then on that page choose the fourth of the brown-text hyperlinks ("Zumen"), which brings you to 紙飛行機の図面 where there are a lot of interesting gliders.

I havn't built any of these yet. Tho I have built the WhiteWings planes in the past. If these are anything like those laminate gliders... they will fly beautifully.

these are very nicely done.

I've been using these gliders for years:

in classroom models (great for 2-5 graders) but I might develop some of these in the future.
