That's cool. But at the same time, disturbingly creepy. Imagine
mounting your own head on the wall.....

The idea is interesting.
Some time ago, I have tried to make it with my own head, but I don't have enough time for that. Maybe some day...

Imagine your head in the body of your favorite super hero? Your head in a model of Spiderman or Batman for example?

It's good, no? It is that I have tried, but not completed my project yet. I don't have a laser scanner to get the mesh of my head, so, I need to make it by hand in 3D Max.

Maybe in future I can have my elf paper doll with my head

We had to create a mask of ourselves in my 3D design classes years ago and then paint it. I did mine as a photo-realistic death mask. Have it sticking up out of a box. Really freaks some people out.

His motivation was a $7000 dollar Japanese sex doll (He even posts a pic of it). That's creepy in my book. I guess if he squints his eyes a lot that might help but reality will probably set in when he touches it.

Well, the guy comes from Rotterdam, like me, I've seen his exhibitions, he is an autonomous artist, using cardboard techniques to express his art,but he is not a cardmodeler, like us plane, tank and rocket nurds like we He's a member at the "other forum", but never posted much. But it's amazing stuff he makes..

Well, if you click on "paper self clone" you can download Bert's head and assemble in your own home.
Please don't ask me why anyone would want to...
