The first paper clock I built was from a book store. I had never heard of such a thing. When it was done, I was surprised at how accurate it was. When it ran, it was at least accurate to within 3 weeks to a month. When it stopped, it told perfect time twice a day. I wish I still had it. Even though my abilities undoubtedly contributed to the clocks (in)accuracy, my friends where amazed to see it work. It was the '70's and mechanical things were still appreciated.

Great!
How cool was that! I wonder where the pattern came from.

The paper clock is the one designed by Isaac Asemov. I had one
that I purchased from Lou Dausse of PMI several years ago but I sold the kit. You can see what it looks like at this link to PMI. The model however is not available apparently at PMI due to the new owner has not kept up inventory. Link; PaperModels.net - Catalog Page 61 Ron |

Just FYI,
The clock was designed/conceived by James Smith Rudolph. Isaac Asimov just added a preface. |

Thanks Mr. Hawley,
I was just going by what the cover had listed. My error. The model was produced many years ago so I assume it is out of print...Ron |
