At first I thought this was a link to a site, a page, something interesting.
But its an actual PDF file download.

A model file I assume?
I don't know because I stopped the file download immediately.

I didn't expect a download to begin when I clicked the link.
I didn't notice the pdf extension.
...so it was an unexpected surprise when a download started.

Although I appreciate the free model... or whatever it is?,
I think it would be a good idea to state what the link is for.
State what the included link is for.
Not just post a file for download with no other info.

I'm sure no harm was intended but I hate surprises like this.

The Wolf Pack is a collection of research articles by AMP’s Dougie Martindale. Each article covers a subject of specific interest to a modeller building the 1/72nd Revell U-boat. Topics range from U-boat colours to insignia to the multitude of modifications made to the Type VII U-boat. Also included is a build article by AMP’s Wink Grise*.
Contains:

Kriegsmarine U-Boat Colours & Markings
Type VIIC Free-Flooding Vent Patterns (updated version)
Type VII U-Boat Modifications
The Snorting Bull Insignia
U 96 & The Laughing Sawfish
German U-Boat Victory Pennants
U-Boat Model Kits & Accessories
Super-detailing Revell&rsquos 1/72nd Type VIIC U-Boat*
Revell Type VIIC Checklist

agreed...but lets not imply that this PDF contained anything malicious.

it was just the surprise of a download starting,
when I clicked a link in the post.

to me, the post resembled a "look at this cool stuff here" kind of link.

I'm sure its also a language barrier issue.
Maybe Jaska didn't realize to put a little more info thats all.

If you hover over the link the status at the bottom reveals what it points to.

Take it from a guy who got hit twice by that virus and had to wipe two systems. =\
