I notice a number of JSC and HMV models too, as well as one of Barry's designs. Just sent this person a nasty note and a large attachment.

Do we not have a member skilled in site hacking?
That would be willing to have some fun with sites like this?
I would fully support this type of activity in a case like this.

I'm not kidding.

Maybe it's my age, but it almost sounds as if you guys just found out how the world works. I hope this is a reflection of how well things are in your lives. I really do. By some people's references, my own maybe, this much indignation is reserved for other things.

Of course, this is also a place where people come to get away from "it", and I guess in a sense, you can never get away from "it". "It" always been here. Papermodelers, a find group of people for sure. "It" will not bring us down, and because "it" is invading our little virtual word, maybe "it" will get a bite on the a$$. One can always hope, and hope is all we have.

Well, between the anti-Chinese bigotry and the suggestions of illegal computer hacking this has turned into a really useful paper modeling thread. Was the sarcasm too heavy?

Moderators - please!

This guy is selling models that are free primarily to Chinese people who may not know they can get them for free. They also are not his. Not sure where the bigotry comes in.

The Government of China's lackadaisical approach to piracy is well established and documented. This is not racism or bigotry.

The United States and the U.K. (and other countries) have immigration laws that in essence promote a"Brain Drain" on the intelligentsia of other countries, is that a bigoted statement? It may be a contested one, but it is not bigoted or racist.

Ok Folks,

I have had some requests to shut this and the other piracy threads.

I will do what is requested.

In the future I do hope that we can stay on topic, and offer suggestions on how to combat this type of theft, and if you feel so strongly about it, volunteer with Chris and his Anti Piracy Group, pm him for more info.

I thank you all, I was able to adjust my "watch", I was running a bit slow, and was missing a bit vigor on the boards.

In future I would like to ask that piracy chatter be very limited, I have been on lists and forums where this topic can shred the entire community apart.

It serves nothing but to raise blood pressures and tempers.

And as always, any and all questions, send me a pm or grab my attention on the Instant Messaging clients.

Rick
