1966 Cadillac Coupe de Ville

Hi all,

I just found this posted on my often checked blogs and my facebook feed,

north07 has created a 1:24 model of the 1966 Coupe de Ville.

His website is here
Home - American car Papercraft! by north07
and you can download the car over at the Tamasoft/Pepakura site.
NO.0000660????

His gallery also shows a 1963 Chevrolet Impala.

Enjoy

Rick

What a beauty. A guy has one of these in perfect condition about a mile from me, in black, if I knew him I'd give him a model. Nice!

The Audi model you posted a video of is here:

If that Impala is or comes available, that would be a treat.

The Impala is shown as a 1/16 scale in the gallery, but no download.
I hope to see it in 1/25 like the DeVille. Just add Stock hubcaps Please!!

I wonder if I could adapt this to the Jo-Han plastic Ambulance kit!!!
Be nice to do That in paper. (Considering the price these days !!)

The Impala is very nice. Back in my younger days, I owned a 1963 Impala SS convertible with a 409 engine.

I bought it used in 1966. The previous owner was an older gentleman who bought it with a 409 and 3.90 gear ratio to tow his Airstream trailer.

It would really accelerate but only got 11 mpg on the highway.

I would love to be able to make a model of that car. Of course I would want the "stock" SS hubcaps.

I'd take that model exactly the way it is shown. Beggars be not choosers. I saw many cars that looked just like that when i was very young. It would rather easy to make any type of wheels for that.

BobH, If you don't mind Plastic, AMT still offers their OLD tooling 63 SS & It Does have a 409.
You might want to replace the Old tool engine with one from the Modern tool 62 Bel Air/Impala Convertible.
Also, Most issues of the AMT 63 are missing the Firewall & radiator.
Revell's 63 has the 327. But you could use the AMT 62 or Lindberg 61 409 Dual-Quad in that too.
Both have the SS hubcaps.

I too want that paper 63 with the Stock SS hubcaps!!

I got it and now buidling i love the look of this car. will i start a build thread. i had the printer problem and i noticed that the wheels were not printing out black and not going to be a new printer here for a while yet well not this weekend anyway. Besides i don't like wasting card and ink.

so I thought why worry it may look cool with white wall tyres then it be just a bit of black pen for the thread part. the ink problem may mean a bit of painting on the bodywork as well but alas i don't like wasting card are ink.

I haven't built a plastic model in years even though I have a whole closet shelf full of them.

I suppose I'm lazy but I just don't have the desire to do all that painting. I haven't used my airbrush since I moved 16 years ago. I needed a new compressor back then and never got around to buying one.

I have not Finished one in a few years. I have more than a closet shelf full!!
(a few Hundred at least and still looking for more!!)
I have 2 Air-brushes, badger 350M & an Aztek, but tend to use rattle-cans!!
Don't have a fitting for my Compressor, but have used propellant cans
Yes I have a 63 Impala SS in Progress And a Convertible to restore!
