1/4000 USS Akron
I was looking over the "Build Your Own New York/Chicago" sites when I came across a freebie I hadn't seen before. A 1/4000 scale USS Akron airship to moor on the airship mast on the Empire State Building. It's not on the normal free models page, I found it after clicking on the "Scale Models" link next to the site logo on the freebie page. Main page here; Build Your Own New York Postcard Models

What a great find! I had not realized that Matt had produced all those additional models revealed by that icon. Gil Benson says he has built every one. I wonder if he has built Akron?

Did you also notice King Kong?  A very nice set of models, although from a selfish point of view I would love to see him add a Yankee stadium to his offerings; the old or new version, I don't care!  Thanks for posting the link! Cheers! Jim

Glad you liked it, Don and Jim. Actually, I never noticed Kong until after I printed the sheet.
