1/72 WWII AFVs

I suspect this one has been sited before, but I haven't seen it. It's a Russian site offering a selection of free 1/72 armor with a few interesting choices;
Модели из бумаги в М 1\72

Unfortunately, the models all seem to be either WMF or DWG files that for the life of me I have not been able to open. If anyone can open these and save them for me as another form of file (JPG, PDF, PNG)....Or if anyone knows a program for the Mac that will actually work to open them, I would be very thankful!

Chris, Illustrator can open/import those. The actual models are all white and there are no instructions.

That list of models looks familiar to me. I think I have the ones that are in my area of interest: Willys, M3A32 halftrack, WC-51 weapons carrier, Cromwell, and Chaffee. I will check when I get home.

I also see the term "Yoshidom" and a lot of those tanks look like Y's tanks.

I wondered about the Yoshidom connection. He gives credit for the Jeep and the M3A2, but as far as I can see there are no duplications of any of Y's models.
Unfortunately, I don't have Illustrator anymore, so it looks like I'm out of luck.

Chris, For me, the "wmf" files auto-opened in Paint. I have the version that comes with Win7 Professional. The images appear to be bitmap format, which means they should open in older versions of Paint. Does that help? Ric

The .wmf files auto opened in Paint for me too. Inkscape was able to open them also.

I remember Y's uncolored models. I used to have the site bookmarked.

I downloaded a WMF viewer for Mac and got them open. They look pretty challenging, but there are a couple there that are tempting!

I figured you were bound to show up here eventually, Ken. Nice to go back and revisit Y's shop. Nothing new that I could detect, but all the old friends.

Chris - I hope you will try one of those challenging models. Presume you can color the model or print on khaki paper?

White models can be printed on colored cardstock to make some interesting models.
For example, the pink panther, The BA-6, and the panhard.
My pictures did not come through.
