Gunnar Sillen's Isolda sailing ship model

Gunnar Sillen has updated his web site. It looks great. You go here to visit:
BILDRUM

Gunnar is well known for his paper model Santa series, documenting Santa Klaus' many contributions to human civilization. He has a lot of other good things on his web site. If you have not seen it before , I will not spoil the surprise. You can explore it and discover what is there on your own.

Mr Sillen had also had his Isolda sailing ship model re-posted on the Isolda web site, after a long absence. You can familiarize yourself with the ship by building the model, and then the next time you are in Goteborg, you can make arrangements to go aboard in person.

S/V Isolda, Göteborg

Go to the web site and look around carefully, the site is in Swedish, but you should be able to find the link to the paper model files.

And last, but not least, and perhaps best of all, Gunnar is thinking about creating a Lutfisk themed paper model! Yummm!

I always love going to his site but my main thing is, I can't find were to purchase his models, or are they not for sale? I really want NR8 and NR12.

buying gunnars models?

Inky:
Some of his models are for sale through museums, but NR8 and NR 12 have no external link, though NR12 is priced. He has a real mail and email address on the site, why not contact him and see where you can buy the models, he might be doing direct sales.

Just a quick note. Gunnar's Hajen may also still be available at Paper Models International. I built it many years ago, and even though it was a hand-drawn kit, it built up into a very nice model. The Isolda is still on my to-do list.
