Skipton Castle

My wife and I recently returned from a holiday that included the above castle. It's one of the most complete Medieval Castles in the UK.

They have a card model printed on A3 card. It's quite a basic kit but I can't tell how good it is because I've not made it.

It's not free but it's good value at £5.50. Here's the link

Yorkshire Dales Skipton Castle Bookshop and Tea Rooms

My latest is about the most intricate building I've made. I've been at it for about three months and there's still quite a lot to do. I'll post pictures when it's done.

Cheers
Mike

Thanks Tim,

You may have to wait quite a while. Once my current model is finished, I'm going to try my hand at a complicated Automata..... watch this space !

Ditto - The fact that i have a love of all that IS Yorkshire makes me interested. When i get some spare {dare i say spare} cash for petrol, i take myself off to this most wonderful place on Gods Earth. Even Yorkshire Tea is a great taste - a fine and HONEST part of our country, a SPADE is a SPADE, and that's how things should be. Look at me rambling on Nice looking model for sure, and look forward to seeing it built... have fun, and enjoy

If you go to the Fun(?) section, there is a simple Gate House download. Think it needs to be colored in as well. Also a *very* simple kitchen dioarama. Mwant mainly for kids methinks. Thanks for the link! Be Well, Eric

I didn't want to mention the name. When I emailed the publishers, they said "Think about it - It's a very difficult kit". So by not saying, if it doesn't work, I can substitute it with another - easier kit ;-)

If I mention cool4cats and you know it's their most difficult model, you may be able to guess;-)

Cheers
