Chip has released the Goose as a free model! Didn't know he was going to do that! Hope you all enjoy this one if you give it a go!

Thanks, really Chip did most of the coloring, he likes the Goose and worked hard on it to make my original easier to build. He surprised me by coming out with it for free after all the work he has in it! Lots of work on his part! Of course he likes doing that, but he has a full plate presently.

Really great looking. Thanks a bunch. I really need to order from there, especially since I want the Taylor Aerocar. Fits both sets of my interest in weird cars and strange aircraft.

your welcome, Whulsey, in fact the Boeing museum has an actual car/plane...it is a little plane but a big idea. This am I hastily put together the fuse of the Goose, it has some awkward moments, but fits really rather well, considering how many changes have occurred, Chip obviously put some time in on this. Here's the pics if helpful

noticed a small area we'll have to correct at the rear wing root, but otherwise fit fine, the order of things has to be thought about, and probably can be done several ways, I tried doing one side and attaching all to it, then add the opposite side starting on the rear main hull
this is the area that didn't fit perfect

but not all that bad if the gray area removed and slight narrowing of the rear glue tab-in fact looks ok out of focus....

These are useful and interesting photos, Glen. I am feeling a bit discouraged after emerging from an afternoon of model building that resulted in another failed Stinson Sentinel. I might try building the Goose as therapy -- your photos will help.

I hope they do, Don! It seems a bit unweildy at times, but emerges like a goose.

as time allows today have progressed with the Goose, working well but a couple errata have been exposed, so will work shortly on the problem. Scaling is off on the gear and a couple parts absent. Can be completed as is gear up, though. Will attemp to fix these things shortly

Thanks for the construction photos, they'll be helpful.
I got some photos of the Aerocar at the Boeing Museum when I was there a couple of years ago. Have only ever seen one mint condition Gadsen (think that was who did it) kit of it not for sale and a gluebomb one for 150 dollars so FG's looks like a much better deal. Plus there's a bunch of other neat stuff if I buy the whole cd.
As GB said a couple days ago: so many projects, so little time.
