Micro Train Layout from Japan

The train goes around and around, but only if you design your own mechanism:

Time Tripper

Sugar cane railway has probably already been posted but is worth revisiting:

www.ZelmerOz.com/CaneSIG: Card Models

(If you figure out how to get to the rest of the Time Tripper web site, there are links to Stirling Engine stuff and a fireworks simulator :

If it clicks with a mouse, fireworks will go up to the position.
It is fairly beautiful if it hits repeatedly. Please try a various way.

Flash after the smoke under rise or explosion is rather beautiful.
Fireworks with a fantastic atmosphere can be launched.
The number of the maximum bits 10,000 pieces.
Those who have a margin in processing need to enlarge size, and need to enjoy it.)

I have been looking at it, I think the way to connect the train to the mechanism is with weak magnets, strong enough to pull train along, but not strong enough to pull train into paper and create friction that cannot be overcome.
