Coming Soon to an internet near you
Ok folks can't really give away to much but here is a little to think about...
Ive seen a few Time Lapse videos of models being made so i thought i would give it a go.. So ive got my cam set up taking a shot every 30 seconds as i build..(see attached sample pics),then need to convert it to a little movie for upload .will be a long build so don't hold your breath!!! Model Details (without giving to much away) Model 1: An original model designed by:******* ****** Assembled size(mm):H500 W305 D332 Part Count :262 Model 2: Re-scale of above model by me Assembled size(mm):H1000 W610 D664 Part Count :378 A quick note about the pics ..i use very bright lights for my modelling area and these were causing a glare on the pics ,, to fix this i adjusted the Exposure of the cam , the downside is that they look a little dark .... ok enough waffle.. Be Back Soon ....

I'm assuming you don't have a Video camera, with a time lapse feature?
So you are using your still camera to shoot individual images. Does your camera shoot video? if so, you can also try something I did. Shoot short clips and edit them into a full movie in your movie maker program. But you can adjust the time length of each clip by shortening the duration. It speeds up the clip, like a time lapse video...compressing time and allowing you to speed through parts of the assembly. This also allows you too slow down any section or clip to real time if necessary to show something important. just an idea. I like little vids like this, so I will be waiting for yours!

I'm using a webcam and capture software that allows you to set a "snapshot" interval ..i suppose i could just record then edit but i like the "jumpy" effect that time lapse gives ..
and its my first try so maybe next time i might try something diffferent .. thanks for the pointers Dave ..

Thanks, this is going to be way cool. For the glare problem with bright lights you may wish to use a diffuser. A milky translucent sheet of plastic between the light source and the work.
