WW1 Research material
Hello folks,
For those of you wishing to add that little bit extra detail to your WW1 aircraft, check out the Wingnut Wings site. They produce a stunning range of plastic kits, but on their site they also provide highly detailed instructions and reference photos. I am using this sit as a guide for adding some extra details to the ECard models Pfalz DXII, itself a stunning kit by Marek. Have fun exploring and happy modelling. There's a related company called the Vintage Aviator that creates full-sized re-creations of WWI aircraft. They have several photo galleries and some interesting videos too.

I agree, Bernie. I was very excited when I came upon their Sopwith Pup material. Their walkaround section is the best I've seen. Then there is, as you say, the instructions which will give you hints about details, plus of course the vintage photos. Quite fantastic. - L.
