Pop up cards

I saw an ad for pop up cards while viewing Holiday catalogs. Googled the artist and found his website.
He has many templates with instructions for download. Looks like a good project for the grand kids.

Excellent find. I've bookmarked that site for the next Grand-kid's visit. They will love making these up.

hi people.
I have down loaded the rose and angel cards...no color.
I tried to open the gif to color it ...but nothing I have will apply a color?....gimp, f-spot, picaso, photoshop express etc,
what do you use....
I use linux but have wine installed.
I would rather print a color than water paint the card.............

regards
don

I've only tried the 'Eagle' so far.
D/load is a PDF with no colour.

So it's a case of print ... scan ... save as jpg ... open with Paint ... fill with colours ... save ... Print ... simples, but probably classed as piracy.

John, I wouldn't class that as piracy unless you intended to sell them or redistribute them and/or pass them off as your own work.

I've downloaded them for the G.Kids really. They will do the colouring in using 'Paint', but they will want to send one to every Friend, parent, auntie, uncle, cousin, etc, as an Xmas or New Year Card.

Probably be a good idea to put the artist's name on them so he gets his due credit though.

Johnny.
