Good that they got the model right, pity they messed up the photo shoot promoting it.
As for the catapult itself, no idea how it should look like :(

Whatever the color is, I want one of these, too, and I want the laser-cut parts.

What is the best source for someone located in the United States? Or do I go straight to GPM?

Don

Don, in the USA papermodelstore when they get them in, Jason has a store up in Ca-na-Dah, there used to be PMI on the west coast. GPM.pl isn't a bad route to go if you get a few kits. The post sometimes is outrageous but they sometimes refund you for actual costs. They are fairly quick too, sometimes in @ a week, depending on when you order.

Thanks, Ted. I think I will wait until I get back from Israel, Baltimore, and Cape May and then I will shop around. I appreciate the input on buying from GPM.

In any event, I can't resist this model and look forward to seeing a build here in the Forum.

Don

Model Hobby (www.model-hobby.pl) seems to carry a good amount of laser cut kits as well, as another potential option.

Yes, I ordered the Model Hobby BF-109T with all accessories (special printing with 2 colorations, laser frames, wooden wheels and canopy) and the Halinski P38 that's out of print. Total was under $60, with shipping being under $20 - which is respectable considering the odd size packaging required due to canopy and wheels. Timing was ok - I think just over 2 weeks from date of order, which was on a late friday, IIRC.
I remember someone posting about issues with their authentication system when ordering, but it went smoothly for me.

OK, thanks Dan. I'm going to try them. I can't get a log on to work, but it looks like you don't need that to order.

I will also vouch for Model-Hobby. Good prices, pretty fast shipping at reasonable cost and, no, you do not need to log-in to order
