All you need is the pepakura viewer, get yours here
Pepakura Viewer - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com
Indeed the xwing is a lully model.
When you install and run it, you will see a 3d model on oneside that can be spun around, and 'exploded' to view the different components, and the sheets for printing on the right

Once you open the pdo file of say... Body_parts1 you get the basic white image, Now open your settings tab, along the top of your viewer,
file view settings help
and in the drop down box there is a texture setting tab, this will open a box where you can specify texture image.... make sure the texture image name matches part name, for example Body_1_RED2.jpg goes with Body_Parts1.pdo. There you are!

post pictures, we all love pictures BTW I posted the link to an old version, the latest, from the homepage, is here

Arghhh! I've got a mac!

I have a mac, so I can't use pepakura. I'd like to build this, so is it possible (and legal/moral) for someone to convert it to a regular PDF and send it to me?

This is the G. I. Jive
Man alive
It starts with the bugler blowin' reveille over your bed when you arrive
Jack, that's the G. I. Jive

Roodley-toot
Jump in your suit
Make a salute
Boot!!

This is the G. I. Jive
Man alive
They give you a private tank that features a little device called "fluid drive"
Jack, after you revive

You’re on your way
But if you say
P-D-F instead of P-D-O
Then you owe

The Man, and
Soon you're countin' jeeps
But before you count to five
Seems you're right back diggin' that G. I. Jive

With apologies to Johnny Mercer and the Andrews Sisters
