Yes, the size of the image is restricted if you don't sign up. But about 50% of the images are below the limit anyway. I signed up several years ago and I haven't seen any issues with spam or anything like that.
This site: Planes has alot of drawings with cross sections, so it might be more useful even if the selection is limited. |

Many of the "blueprints" on both the sites mentioned are actually scans from copyrighted publications. I spotted numerous subjects from Squadron Publications, Mushroom Publications, SAM and others that match the drawings in the books I have. I'm not trying to get some flame war going here - but let your conscience be your guide on sites like these.

That's why I haven't posted any sites. You find a good one, then find copyrighted material. Just follow your heart because it's all out there and it gets tricky to say who has the right to what. Reference materials can be a designers best kept secret. I was given a set of prints by a friend who went to Moscow to get them!
