Polaris A1 SLBM 1/24

Polaris A1 SLBM 1/24
Model by Stefan Wulph (SMWulph)

Hello to any and all that are looking at this, Thanks for your interest.
If you have built any of Ton's excellent models from the Lower Hudson Valley Paper Model you'll recognize that I used the same style of design and building protocol.
This is just some straight up cylinders and cones. Just cut out and glue with patience and align the seams and you'll have a nice looking 14.3 inch display.
I sized the pages so they will fit both A4 and Letter sized paper without resizing
Follow the numbers for the major sections with lettering for the sub assemblies.
Thanks to all the designers out there that have provided me with many hours of building and I hope I can begin to give back to the papermodel community.

While we are waiting, another bit of Polaris trivia. Aerojet General lost (read that as blown sky high) polaris fuel mixing stations early on in the program. I don't know what the exact count was, but there were several of the station operators killed before discovering what was going wrong. The small-scale proof-of-principle mixing plant worked perfectly, but the full scale ones kept on blowing up. They finally determined that the amount of fuel being mixed was the culprit....in the full scale plant, the friction of mixing the fuel developed enough static electricity to ignite the batch...the smaller fuel amounts in the demonstration plant managed to avoid that fate.
