All Done

Here is a scan of the last set of parts, the pair of shoulder protectors ( 0-sode), shin guards (suneate), boots, banner, right sleeve, and left arm protector (kote).

And finally a scan of the complete armor, carefully stored away in its box, waiting to be brought out and displayed on the next boy's day festival.

I am looking forward to a restoration that will not only replace the missing parts but will repair the fading and loss of brilliance that have occurred as the dyes and paper aged (hint, hint).
I did not glue the pieces so I could store them in the box. To display the model armor, I would consider lacing the separate parts together with embroidery floss, just as the the originals were laced together with silk tape (I suspect that cotton or flax was used on inexpensive mass produced armors).
It was fun doing this old build, thanks for looking at my posts.
