Question,
I downloaded one of the new models only to find an Unusual file format inside the rar file.
What is a zmf file?
And what Freeware opens them??

Or did I get a corrupt download??

Can't edit above. Why??!!

I can safely state that Neither Gimp, XnView, or Paint.net can open this
format of file.
Search says it is a Zoner Draw file.
Is there a Freeware of that??
Link for one was Not freeware, but Trialware!

Best bet, What FREEWARE can Convert these files to some other Photo/Drawing file
format that even windows on-board Pic's/Fax viewer can open??
ie, what will convert them to jpg, png, tif/tiff, gif, etc??

FileHippo claims that XnView is freeware and is able to import 400 graphic file formats.
FileHippo also claims that XnView is able to export 50 graphic file formats including .zmf files.
Looks like XnView might do the job for you but I have not used it.

See: Download XnView v1.98.8 - FileHippo.com

the reason you can't change your post, is that you have one hour to do so.

and the time between your two posts is 2 hours 9 minutes.

Thanks on that Rick.
as far as I know, all other forums allow the poster to edit
as long as they are a member!! (ie, forever)

As stated above, I Tryed to open the zmf files with xnview,
and they did NOT even show as in the folder!!!
I have version 1.98.

I would contact that site and tell them to Pull that info!!

I do not see zmf listed there.

I left a comment asking for that info.

Otherwise, I am Still looking for a freeware to open, or at least Change them into more Common picture/drawing formates that even windows onboard pic/fax viewer can open.

Many thanks

Dan,

We initially allowed unlimited editing, but people were deleting their posts, and destroying the flow of the threads they either started or commented on.

that is why you now have 1 hour, and that is it.

Rick

Which model was it? All the ones I downloaded were pdfs or png files. Let us know which one you're trying to get.

Been looking through again and I can NOT find anything like this file anywhere on the Minimodels site..... Where on earth is it?????

The-EDSEL 03-13-2012 06:39 PM

it is this one. "Model_multikara_a_man_.rar"
The files in the rar are Multikara.zmf, multikara1.zmf,
Model DAF.zmf & Multikara Navod.doc.

I thought I got it there, but am not 100% positive now. Though I only remember downloading form there that night
