Time Machine Card Model

This is the original time machine from the 1960's movie, which is still a masterpiece, as far as I am concerned.

It makes e feel like assembling it and inviting some people over for dinner, and when they have had enough after dinner drinks, showing them the model and using some sleight of hand to make it disappear.

Yes...the 60s version was and still is, the best version of The Time Machine yet.

That's a nice model of the machine also. I attempted it several years ago, but printed it too small. I'll have to work on it again, only a little larger.

Traveling through time things move faster, or slower, but don't become bigger, or smaller

My friend owns the original Time Machine prop itself and I promised him I'd do this paper version for him, but I think those rails may be beyond my skills!

Neat movie.......... I was in the hospital when this came on TV for the first time......... me and the other two guys on the ward had to bribe the nurses to let us stay up and see the finish......

Yes... this IS the best Time Machine movie........ ole H.G. could pump out some good stories that made some pretty darn good movies...........

I think the War of the Worlds with Gene Barry was the best one too! Of course having Northrup's flying wing in it was a selling point too!

Actually the machines in the second "War Of The Worlds" with Tom Cruise in it looked more like you'd expect the Martian machines to look, but they ruined the movie by putting Tom Cruise in it.

I liked the '49 Ford tail lights that shot the heat rays in the Gene Barry version, too.

There was a cool 70s movie with Malcolm Mcdowel as HG Wells who had to hunt down Jack the ripper in Modern times. David Warner played the ripper, stole the machine to avoid capture and Wells went after him. I think it was called time after time but I'm not sure.

Yes, it was "Time after Time". My friend was the associate producer on it. He said the time machine prop in the movie was a real nightmare to work with. But it came out fine in the film! I'd love to see a model of that one, it was very stylish.
