1:1 Non Profit Paper Modeling of Ancient Armor
Osakajyou Red Samurai
Japanese history otaku made 1:1 wearable armor from paper and act out at local festivals. No plans sadly,but many pictures are linked to, as well as tourist information for Osaka area. Being organized and group oriented they have formalized their association with a non profit organization.

Instructions for making a real suit of samurai armor.
I had aleady posted this site on a different thread but it is also a good post for this one.
This site gives instructions for making your own suit of armor from the original materials. There is no reason that lacquered cardboard or posterboard could not be substituted for metal plate, or the plans scaled down to child size or action figure scale. Nihon Katchû Seisakuben
